Chandigarh – Dedication Ceremony on Int’l Women’s Day- Dadi Ratanmohini & Sis. Jayanti Participate

International Women’s Day was celebrated at Chandigarh in the presence of Respected Dadi Ratan Mohini Ji,Joint Chief of Brahma Kumaris and Respected Didi Chaakradhari Ji, Chairperson of Women Wing and Director of Russian Centers.
On this very auspicious occasion and in a grand gathering of more than 8000 (including a great number of Bks who have come from all corners of Punjab Zone) in mela ground Sector 34, Chandigarh, 58 sisters dedicated their lives (Samarpan Samaroh) to transform this society into a golden aged one. Besides 130 young kumaris pledged to dedicate themselves in the very near future (Sankalp Samaroh) .
Dadi Ratan Mohini Ji blessed all and asked them to lead their lives according to shrimat and having pure and positive thoughts for all. Didi Chakradhari Ji asked one and all to become very strong spiritually to face all kinds of challenges.
Chief guest was Mr Justice Rajan Gupta, Judge of Punjab and Haryana High Court and a number of distinguished guests included Chandigarh Mayor Mrs Raj Bala. former Mayor Mrs Harjinder Kaur and a number of jurists, administratore, politicians, doctors and businessmen.
On 9th March, Rajyogini Sister Jayanti, Director of European centers addressed a very special gathering of more than 400 distinguished guests at Rajyoga Bhawan, Chandigarh. Theme of her talk was Constant Happiness. She explained that real happiness can be experienced by knowing one self and by understanding and having mental communism with our Supreme Father.

11th International Yoga Day Celebration at Chandigarh

Chandigarh Celebrates 11th International Yoga Day with Enthusiastic Participation
Chandigarh, June 21:
On the occasion of the 11th International Day of Yoga, Chandigarh witnessed large-scale celebrations, marked by enthusiasm and active participation from citizens and dignitaries alike.
Brahma Kumaris Chandigarh Organizes Special Yoga Day Program
Brahma Kumaris Chandigarh held a collective yoga program at the scenic Terraced Garden in Sector 33-A. The event was graced by distinguished guests, including Sh. S.K. Jain, IPS – Director General of Police, Haryana, and Sh. Jagdish Singh Sarpal, President of the Sector 33 Residents Welfare Association. Joining them on stage were BK Uttra Didi, BK Anita Didi, BK Kavita Didi, and BK Arun Bhai. Around 1000 BKs performed yoga practice in this event.
This year’s global theme, “Yoga for One Earth, One Health,” was emphasized throughout the session, highlighting yoga’s role in promoting holistic well-being and environmental harmony.
Chandigarh Administration Leads Grand Celebration at Tiranga Urban Park
Simultaneously, the Chandigarh Administration and the Department of AYUSH hosted a large-scale event at Tiranga Urban Park, Sector 17. The Hon’ble Governor of Punjab and Administrator of UT Chandigarh, Sh. Gulab Chand Kataria, led the celebrations as Chief Guest.
Prominent dignitaries in attendance included Mayor Harpreet Kaur Babla, Home Secretary Mandeep Singh Brar, Finance Secretary Diprava Lakra, Deputy Commissioner Nishant Yadav, Municipal Commissioner Amit Kumar, and Health Secretary Ajay Chagti, along with several senior officials from the UT Administration.
Over 2,000 yoga enthusiasts from various sectors participated in the mass yoga session, making the event a resounding success. Notably, around 100 members of the Brahma Kumaris also took part in the collective yoga practice, showcasing their commitment to spiritual and physical well-being.
Both events reflected Chandigarh’s growing engagement with yoga as a means to foster a healthier, more mindful society.
