Shiv Jayanti Celebrations at Chandigarh: Justice Mrs. Daya Chaudhary was the Chief Guest

On the occasion of Maha Shivratri a special program was organised by Brahma Kumaris Chandigarh at Rajyoga Bhawan, Sector 33-A on Monday, 4th March 2019 in the morning. After the murli class Prabhat Pheri was organised to spread the message of baba with contingent of 1500 BKs walking around 4 km in the city.

After that a beautiful programme of Felicitation of some dignitaries of the city was there followed by Flag Hoisting of Shiv Baba.

Hon’ble Justice Mrs. Daya Chaudhary, Punjab & Haryana High Court was the Chief Guest of the event.

In the evening a public program was organised in which around 500 souls received the message of Spiritual Significance of MahaShivRatri

Brahmakumaris mark Shivratri
with message of peace, harmony

Eminent citizens of region honoured, as stress is laid on purity of soul at day-long event; awareness programmes that had started a month ago conclude with a 3-km walk at the Brahmkumaris Centre

Chandigarh Shivratri is not a festival that we can celebrate a single day in a year at out places of worship. It is a concept and connection with all-supreme god that continues all through our lives, with this though, Brahmkumaris celebrated the festival of Shivrari at its regional centre on Monday. The day also marked the conclusion of month-long programmes for Shivratri by the Brahmakumaris in Chandigarh and the surrounding region.

The programmes saw 25 centres of the organization and around 1,000 people associated with these, called Brahmkumaris, spread the message of Shiv Baba. On Monday early morning, around 1,500 Brahmakumaris marched through Sectors 32 and 33 for around 3km with the message of Shiv.

At the Rajyoga Bhawan in Sector 33, a small function was organized to honour prominent personalities like Dr Pam Rajput, former chairperson, high-level Committee on the Status of Women, Government of India; Paramjit Singh, director, Regional Centre for Entrepreneurship Development, Chandigarh; Ram Kumar Garg, founder, Second Innings Association (SIA),Chandigarh. Others honoured were renowned social worker and RTI activist, Dr Sanjeev Kamboj, president & founder, Udham, NGO, Chandigarh; Sadhna Sanger, president, ‘WE’, a group of women artists in Chandigarh and Dr Anuradha Sharma, founder, Humari Kaksha, Chandigarh.

Brahmkumari Bhrata Amir Chand, national vice-person, social wing, Brahma Kumaris director, Brahma Kumaris north zone, said, “We need to lay stress on understanding the real meaning of devotion and the power of Shiv. Love and tolerance are virtues that stay forever.”

Rajyoga meditation session held

In the evening, another function was held to meditate on the teachings of Shiv where UT adviser Manoj Parida was the chief guest with MC additional commissioners Saurabh Mishra and Anil Kumar Garg as the guest of honour. All dignitaries agreed that peace was the way forward for the world and the Brahmakumaris was doing a good job in this direction. Brahma kumari Neha conducted a 10-minute Rajyoga mediation session for all present. This was well-appreciated by the audience.

26 नवंबर चंडीगढ़ के टैगोर थिएटर में ब्रह्माकुमारी संस्था द्वारा नशा मुक्ति पर एक खास कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया गया। पंजाब के गवर्नर और चंडीगढ़ के प्रशासक, महामहिम श्री बनवारी लाल पुरोहित जी ने इस कार्यक्रम के मुख्य अतिथि के तौर पर नशा मुक्ति अभियान का उद्घाटन किया। इस कार्यक्रम का मुख्य उद्देश्य पंजाब और चंडीगढ़ को नशा मुक्ति की या ले कर जाना है। ये कार्यक्रम ब्रह्माकुमारी संस्था के नॉर्थ ज़ोन के पूर्व निदेशक भाई अमीर चंद जी के तीसरे स्मृति दिवस पर आयोजित किया गया था।

श्री बनवारी लाल पुरोहित जी ने धर्म की महत्ता पर जोर देते हुए कहा कि समाज में और नशे को रोकने के लिए कानून पुलिस और बॉर्डर पर बीएसएफ सभी अपना काम तत्परता से कर रहे हैं लेकिन जन-जन में जागृति और होश लाने का काम केवल धर्म ही कर सकता है। भारत की संस्कृति बहुत विशाल और प्राचीन है और केवल धार्मिक प्रवृत्ति हमारी संस्कृति को कायम रखती है और ब्रह्माकुमारी संस्था जिसकी सेवाएँ जन कल्याण के लिए समर्पित हैं, आज इस संस्था के भाई बहन सभी ऋषि मुनियों के समान हैं जो समाज में जागृति ला रहे हैं और आगे भी लाते रहेंगे।

अपनी ज़िंदगी में तंबाकू के सेवन को छोड़ने को याद करते हुए उन्होंने बताया की किस तरह नागपुर में गायत्री यज्ञ में वे सपरिवार शामिल हुए और यज्ञ के आखिर में उनकी पत्नी ने एक बुरी आदत छोड़ने को कहा तो उन्होंने हमेशा के लिए तंबाकू का सेवन छोड़ दिया। जब परमात्मा को ही वायदा कर दिया तो उसके बाद उस बुराई को दोबारा ज़िंदगी में कभी नहीं आने दिया। इसी तरह ब्रह्माकुमारी भाई बहन जब किसी को इस नशे से मुक्त होने का संदेश देंगे तो अवश्य ही उनके कहे शब्दों में वो ताकत होगी जिसका सम्मान किया जाएगा। भगवान के दूत जब लोगों को शिक्षा देंगे तो उसका असर होगा ही।

भारत की तरक्की देखते हुए पड़ोसी देशों को ईर्ष्या होती है। प्रत्यक्ष रूप से भले ही वो भारत का कुछ नहीं बिगाड़ सकते, लेकिन परोक्ष रूप से देश की युवा पीढ़ी को नशे की आदत से बर्बाद करने का षडयंत्र रच रहे हैं। उस षड्यंत्र को विफल करना ही हमारा काम है। सरकार अपनी ताकत ज़रूर लगा रही है और ब्रह्माकुमारी संस्था की तरफ से जन कल्याण हेतु जनता को जागृत करने की जो कोशिश की जा रही है, वह सराहनीय है। बहुत से घर परिवार इसी नशे के चलते बर्बाद हुए हैं। गांव की महिलाएं तक नशे के खिलाफ जुलूस निकालती हैं क्योंकि उन्होंने अपने बच्चों को नशे के हाथ खोया है।

भगवद्गीता को सभी स्मृतियों पुराणों और वेदों से ऊपर बताया गया है क्योंकि गीता स्वयं भगवान के श्रीमुख से निकली हुई शिक्षा है और उसे भगवान ने मानव हित के लिए समर्पित किया है। उन्होंने कहा कि इस संस्था ने धर्म की जड़ को संभाल रखा है। जैसे स्वामी विवेकानंद जी ने कहा की कितनी संस्कृतियाँ आईं और लुप्त हो गईं लेकिन हमारी संस्कृति आज भी कायम है क्योंकि हमारी प्रवृत्ति धर्म की तरफ है। धर्म को सींचने का काम ये संस्था बखूबी कर रही है। जैसे गेहूं में से कंकड़ को साफ किया जाता है वैसे ही ये संस्था समाज के गलत तत्वों को ठीक करने में अग्रणी है। नशा और ड्रग्स बढ़ रहे हैं ये व्यापक सच्चाई है और इसके लिए जागृति बहुत जरूरी है। उन्हें ब्रह्माकुमारी संस्था को उनकी सेवाओं के लिए बधाई दी और समाज उत्थान में सदा अपना साथ देने की बात कही।

जयपुर से खास पधारे राजयोगिनी ब्रह्माकुमारी सुषमा दीदी ने ” Blissful Life through the Art of Positive Change ” विषय पर अपने सुंदर वक्तव्य में सदा शुभ भावना रखने पर जोर दिया। उन्होंने सरल शब्दों में दान और पुण्य में भेद बताया। दान आसान है, कोई भी कर सकता है लेकिन पुण्य आपके मन की शुभ भावनाओं के संकल्प से आता है। सदा कल्याणकारी सोच ही पुण्य है। नफ़रत किसी इंसान का संकल्प नहीं होना चाहिए। शुभ भावना से धर्म हमेशा रक्षा करता है। चिंतन को बदलना है और उसके लिए राजयोग ध्यान सबसे सरल और सुंदर मार्ग है।

इसके अलावा मंच पर संस्था की नॉर्थ ज़ोन की निदेशक राजयोगिनी ब्रह्माकुमारी प्रेम दीदी और राजयोगिनी ब्रह्माकुमारी उत्तरा दीदी, संस्था के मेडिकल विंग के सेक्रेटरी भाई बनारसी लाल शाह भी उपस्थित रहे और जनसमूह को सम्बोधित किया। मंच का संचालन ब्रह्माकुमारी अनीता दीदी ने किया।

अंत में पंजाब के गवर्नर और चंडीगढ़ के प्रशासक, महामहिम श्री बनवारी लाल पुरोहित जी एवं चंडीगढ़ के महापौर श्री अनूप गुप्ता जी ने नशा मुक्त भारत अभियान की सेवाओं के लिए तैयार किए गए रथ का भी उद्धघाटन किया।

9th International Yoga Day Celebration at Chandigarh

1) Brahma Kumaris Chandigarh organized a collective program on the occasion of 9th International Yoga Day at Terraced Garden, Sector 33-A, Chandigarh. Municipal Councilor Smt. Anju Katyal and Smt. Prem Lata was on dais along with BK Uttra Didi, BK Anita Didi and BK Kavita Didi. This year’s theme was, ‘Yoga for Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’.

2) Chandigarh Administration and Department of Ayush celebrated the ninth International Day of Yoga Wednesday at the Rock Garden in Phase-III, Chandigarh. H.E. Sh. Banwarilal Purohit, Administrator, was the chief guest, and Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Minister of Jal Shakti, Government of India, the guest of honour. Mayor, Anup Gupta, Deputy Commissioner, Secretary Health and other officers of the UT also participated in the programme. In this program around 100 BKs participated in yoga practice. Certificate of Appreciation was given to Brahma Kumaris by H.E. Sh. Banwari Lal Purohit, Hon’ble Governor Punjab & Administrator, UT Chandigarh.
